14:2 David realized that the Lord had established him as king over Israel and that he had elevated ¹  his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel.

1 Chronicles 17:11

17:11 When the time comes for you to die, ²  I will raise up your descendant, ³  one of your own sons, to succeed you, and I will establish his kingdom.

1 Chronicles 22:10

22:10 He will build a temple to honor me; ⁴  he will become my son, and I will become his father. I will grant to his dynasty permanent rule over Israel.’ ⁵

29:30 Recorded there are all the facts about his reign and accomplishments, and an account of the events that involved him, Israel, and all the neighboring kingdoms. ⁶
