David’s Descendants

3:1 These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron:

The firstborn was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam from Jezreel;

the second was Daniel, whose mother was Abigail from Carmel;

1 Chronicles 29:22

29:22 They held a feast ⁴  before the Lord that day and celebrated. ⁵ 

Then they designated Solomon, David’s son, as king a second time; ⁶  before the Lord they anointed him as ruler and Zadok as priest.
