1 Chronicles 4:10

4:10 Jabez called out to the God of Israel, “If only ¹  you would greatly bless me and expand my territory! May your hand be with me! Keep me from harm so I might not endure pain!” ²  God answered his prayer. ³ 

1 Chronicles 21:17

21:17 David said to God, “Was I not the one who decided to number the army? I am the one who sinned and committed this awful deed! ⁴  As for these sheep – what have they done? O Lord my God, attack me and my family, ⁵  but remove the plague from your people!” ⁶ 

1 Chronicles 28:8

28:8 So now, in the sight of all Israel, the Lord’s assembly, and in the hearing of our God, I say this: ⁷  Carefully observe ⁸  all the commands of the Lord your God, so that you may possess this good land and may leave it as a permanent inheritance for your children after you.
