1 Corinthians 1:28

1:28 God chose ¹  what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something,

1 Corinthians 15:24

15:24 Then ²  comes the end, ³  when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power.

¹ tn Here καί (kai) has not been translated because of differences between Greek and English style.

² tn This is a continuation of the previous sentence in the Greek text. Because of the length and complexity of the Greek sentence, a new sentence was started here in the translation.

³ tn Grk “then the end” or “then (is) the end.” Paul explains how the “end” relates to resurrection in vv. 25-28.
