10:2 She arrived in Jerusalem ¹  with a great display of pomp, ²  bringing with her camels carrying spices, ³  a very large quantity of gold, and precious gems. She visited Solomon and discussed with him everything that was on her mind.

1 Kings 12:28

12:28 After the king had consulted with his advisers, ⁴  he made two golden calves. Then he said to the people, ⁵  “It is too much trouble for you to go up to Jerusalem. Look, Israel, here are your gods who brought you up from the land of Egypt.”

1 Kings 19:4

19:4 while he went a day’s journey into the desert. He went and sat down under a shrub ⁶  and asked the Lord to take his life: ⁷  “I’ve had enough! Now, O Lord, take my life. After all, I’m no better than my ancestors.” ⁸
