6:6 The bottom floor of the extension was seven and a half feet ¹  wide, the middle floor nine feet ²  wide, and the third floor ten and a half ³  feet wide. He made ledges ⁴  on the temple’s outer walls so the beams would not have to be inserted into the walls. ⁵

A Prophet from Judah Visits Bethel

12:33 On the fifteenth day of the eighth month (a date he had arbitrarily chosen) ¹⁰  Jeroboam ¹¹  offered sacrifices on the altar he had made in Bethel. ¹²  He inaugurated a festival for the Israelites and went up to the altar to offer sacrifices.
