1 Kings 8:61

8:61 May you demonstrate wholehearted devotion to the Lord our God 1  by following 2  his rules and obeying 3  his commandments, as you are presently doing.” 4 

1 Kings 11:4

11:4 When Solomon became old, his wives shifted his allegiance to 5  other gods; he was not wholeheartedly devoted to the Lord his God, as his father David had been. 6

5 tn Heb “bent his heart after.”
