25:28 His body was carried back by horses, 1  and he was buried in Jerusalem with his ancestors 2  in the City of David. 3 

1 tn Heb “and they carried him on horses.”

2 tn Heb “fathers.”

3 tc The Hebrew text has “Judah,” but some medieval mss read “David,” as does the parallel passage in 2 Kgs 14:20.
