Solomon’s Wealth

1:14 Solomon accumulated ¹  chariots and horses. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horses. He kept them in assigned cities and in Jerusalem. ² 

2 Chronicles 12:5

12:5 Shemaiah the prophet visited Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah who were assembled in Jerusalem because of Shishak. He said to them, “This is what the Lord says: ‘You have rejected me, so I have rejected you and will hand you over to Shishak.’” ³ 

2 Chronicles 28:24

28:24 Ahaz gathered the items in God’s temple and removed them. He shut the doors of the Lord’s temple and erected altars on every street corner in Jerusalem.

2 Chronicles 34:9

34:9 They went to Hilkiah the high priest and gave him the silver that had been brought to God’s temple. The Levites who guarded the door had collected it from the people of ⁴  Manasseh and Ephraim and from all who were left in Israel, as well as from all the people of ⁵  Judah and Benjamin and the residents of ⁶  Jerusalem.
