19:7 Respect the Lord and make careful decisions, for the Lord our God disapproves of injustice, partiality, and bribery.” 1 

2 Chronicles 34:21

34:21 “Go, seek an oracle from 2  the Lord for me and those who remain in Israel and Judah. Find out about 3  the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the Lord’s fury has been ignited against us, 4  because our ancestors 5  have not obeyed the word of the Lord by doing all that this scroll instructs!” 6 

1 tn Heb “and now let the terror of the Lord be upon you, be careful and act for there is not with the Lord our God injustice, lifting up of a face, and taking a bribe.”

2 tn Or “inquire of.”

3 tn Heb “concerning.”

4 tn Heb “for great is the anger of the Lord which has been ignited against us.”
