2 Chronicles 25:21

25:21 So King Joash of Israel attacked. He and King Amaziah of Judah faced each other on the battlefield ¹  in Beth Shemesh of Judah.

2 Chronicles 4:4

4:4 “The Sea” stood on top of twelve bulls. Three faced northward, three westward, three southward, and three eastward. “The Sea” was placed on top of them, and they all faced outward. ²

2 Chronicles 6:3

6:3 Then the king turned around ⁵  and pronounced a blessing over the whole Israelite assembly as they stood there. ⁶ 

2 Chronicles 20:9

20:9 ‘If disaster comes on us in the form of military attack, ⁷  judgment, plague, or famine, we will stand in front of this temple before you, for you are present in this temple. ⁸  We will cry out to you for help in our distress, so that you will ⁹  hear and deliver us.’

⁶ tn Heb “for your name is in this house.” The “name” of the Lord sometimes designates the Lord himself, being indistinguishable from the proper name. In this case the temple is referred to as a “house” where the Lord himself can reside.
