2 Chronicles 5:10

5:10 There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets Moses had placed there in Horeb. ¹  (It was there that ²  the Lord made an agreement with the Israelites after he brought them out of the land of Egypt.)

2 Chronicles 6:11

6:11 and set up in it a place for the ark containing the covenant the Lord made with the Israelites.”

2 Chronicles 21:7

21:7 But the Lord was unwilling to destroy David’s dynasty ³  because of the promise ⁴  he had made to give David a perpetual dynasty. ⁵

⁵ tn Heb “which he made to David, just as he had promised to give him and his sons a lamp all the days.” Here “lamp” is metaphorical, symbolizing the Davidic dynasty.
