7:16 Now I have chosen and consecrated this temple by making it my permanent home; 1  I will be constantly present there. 2

10:7 They said to him, “If you are fair to these people, grant their request, and are cordial to them, they will be your servants from this time forward.” 3 

2 Chronicles 23:7

23:7 The Levites must surround the king. Each of you must hold his weapon in his hand. Whoever tries to enter the temple 4  must be killed. You must accompany the king wherever he goes.” 5 

1 tn Heb “for my name to be there perpetually [or perhaps, “forever”].”

2 tn Heb “and my eyes and my heart will be there all the days.”

3 tn Heb “If today you are for good to these people and you are favorable to them and speak to them good words, they will be your servants all the days.”
