11:13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful ¹  workers, disguising themselves ²  as apostles of Christ.

³ tn Grk “with this confidence of boasting.” The genitive καυχήσεως (kauchsew") has been translated as an attributed genitive (the noun in the genitive gives an attribute of the noun modified).

⁴ tn Or “say with the Lord’s authority.”

⁵ tn Or “bandits.” The word normally refers more to highwaymen (“robbers”) but can also refer to insurrectionists or revolutionaries (“bandits”).

⁶ tn Or “desert.”
