2:14 But thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession ¹  in Christ ²  and who makes known ³  through us the fragrance that consists of the knowledge of him in every place.

2 Corinthians 4:10

4:10 always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, ⁴  so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible ⁵  in our body.

2 Corinthians 9:8

9:8 And God is able to make all grace overflow ⁶  to you so that because you have enough ⁷  of everything in every way at all times, you will overflow ⁸  in every good work.

⁴ tn The first clause of 2 Cor 4:10 is elliptical and apparently refers to the fact that Paul was constantly in danger of dying in the same way Jesus died (by violence at least). According to L&N 23.99 it could be translated, “at all times we live in the constant threat of being killed as Jesus was.”

⁷ tn Or “abound.”

⁸ tn Or “so that by having enough.” The Greek participle can be translated as a participle of cause (“because you have enough”) or means (“by having enough”).
