2 Corinthians 9:12-14

9:12 because the service of this ministry is not only providing for ¹  the needs of the saints but is also overflowing with many thanks to God. 9:13 Through the evidence ²  of this service ³  they will glorify God because of your obedience to your confession in the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your sharing ⁴  with them and with everyone. 9:14 And in their prayers on your behalf they long for you because of the extraordinary grace God has shown to you. ⁵ 

Philippians 1:9-11

1:9 And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insight 1:10 so that you can decide what is best, and thus be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ, 1:11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

Titus 3:14

3:14 Here is another way that our people ⁶  can learn ⁷  to engage in good works to meet pressing needs and so not be unfruitful.

Hebrews 6:10

6:10 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.

James 2:14

Faith and Works Together

2:14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, ⁸  if someone claims to have faith but does not have works? Can this kind of faith ⁹  save him? ¹⁰ 

James 2:17

2:17 So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself.
