16:10 When King Ahaz went to meet with King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria in Damascus, he saw the altar there. 1  King Ahaz sent to Uriah the priest a drawing of the altar and a blueprint for its design. 2

15:29 During Pekah’s reign over Israel, King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria came and captured Ijon, Abel Beth Maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, 3  Gilead, and Galilee, including all the territory of Naphtali. He deported the people 4  to Assyria.
