2 Kings 17:6
17:6 In the ninth year of Hoshea’s reign, the king of Assyria captured Samaria and deported the people of Israel
1 to Assyria. He settled them in Halah, along the Habor (the river of Gozan), and in the cities of the Medes.
Ezekiel 4:13

Hosea 9:3

1 tn The Hebrew text has simply “Israel” as the object of the verb.
2 sn Unclean food among the nations. Lands outside of Israel were considered unclean (Josh 22:19; Amos 7:17).
