2 Kings 19:15-19
19:15 Hezekiah prayed before the
Lord: “
Lord God of Israel, who is enthroned on the cherubs!
1 You alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the sky
2 and the earth.
19:16 Pay attention,
Lord, and hear! Open your eyes,
Lord, and observe! Listen to the message Sennacherib sent and how he taunts the living God!
3
19:17 It is true,
Lord, that the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands.
19:18 They have burned the gods of the nations,
4 for they are not really gods, but only the product of human hands manufactured from wood and stone. That is why the Assyrians could destroy them.
5
19:19 Now, O
Lord our God, rescue us from his power, so that all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you,
Lord, are the only God.”
2 Kings 23:25

Lord as he did, with his whole heart, soul, and being in accordance with the whole law of Moses.

23:2 The king went up to the
Lord’s temple, accompanied by all the people of Judah, all the residents of Jerusalem, the priests, and the prophets. All the people were there, from the youngest to the oldest. He read aloud
7 all the words of the scroll of the covenant that had been discovered in the
Lord’s temple.
2 Kings 14:11

2 Kings 16:7-9
16:7 Ahaz sent messengers to King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria, saying, “I am your servant and your dependent.
11 March up and rescue me from the power
12 of the king of Syria and the king of Israel, who have attacked
13 me.”
16:8 Then Ahaz took the silver and gold that were
14 in the
Lord’s temple and in the treasuries of the royal palace and sent it as tribute
15 to the king of Assyria.
16:9 The king of Assyria responded favorably to his request;
16 he
17 attacked Damascus and captured it. He deported the people
18 to Kir and executed Rezin.
2 Kings 20:20
