2 Kings 2:2

2:2 Elijah told Elisha, “Stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” ¹  But Elisha said, “As certainly as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

2 Kings 2:4

2:4 Elijah said to him, “Elisha, stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Jericho.” ²  But he replied, “As certainly as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went to Jericho.

2 Kings 2:6

2:6 Elijah said to him, “Stay here, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” But he replied, “As certainly as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they traveled on together.

2 Kings 7:4

7:4 If we go into the city, we’ll die of starvation, ³  and if we stay here we’ll die! So come on, let’s defect ⁴  to the Syrian camp! If they spare us, ⁵  we’ll live; if they kill us – well, we were going to die anyway.” ⁶ 

2 Kings 10:21

10:21 Jehu sent invitations throughout Israel, and all the servants of Baal came; not one was absent. They arrived at the temple of Baal and filled it up from end to end. ⁷

10:23 Then Jehu and Jehonadab son of Rekab went to the temple of Baal. Jehu ⁸  said to the servants of Baal, “Make sure there are no servants of the Lord here with you; there must be only servants of Baal.” ⁹ 

2 Kings 21:16

21:16 Furthermore Manasseh killed so many innocent people, he stained Jerusalem with their blood from end to end, ¹⁰  in addition to encouraging Judah to sin by doing evil in the sight of the Lord. ¹¹
