Elisha Miraculously Feeds a Hundred People

4:42 Now a man from Baal Shalisha brought some food for the prophet ¹  – twenty loaves of bread made from the firstfruits of the barley harvest, as well as fresh ears of grain. ²  Elisha ³  said, “Set it before the people so they may eat.”

2 Kings 25:3

25:3 By the ninth day of the fourth month ⁴  the famine in the city was so severe the residents ⁵  had no food.

4:8 One day Elisha traveled to Shunem, where a prominent ⁷  woman lived. She insisted that he stop for a meal. ⁸  So whenever he was passing through, he would stop in there for a meal. ⁹ 

2 Kings 6:22

6:22 He replied, “Do not strike them down! You did not capture them with your sword or bow, so what gives you the right to strike them down? ¹⁰  Give them some food and water, so they can eat and drink and then go back to their master.”

2 Kings 18:32

18:32 until I come and take you to a land just like your own – a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and honey. Then you will live and not die. Don’t listen to Hezekiah, for he is misleading you when he says, “The Lord will rescue us.”
