9:32 He looked up at the window and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” Two or three ¹  eunuchs looked down at him.

Matthew 12:30

12:30 Whoever is not with me is against me, ²  and whoever does not gather with me scatters. ³ 

Luke 9:50

9:50 But Jesus said to him, “Do not stop him, for whoever is not against you is for you.”

¹ tn Heb “two, three.” The narrator may be intentionally vague or uncertain here, or the two numbers may represent alternate traditions.

² sn Whoever is not with me is against me. The call here is to join the victor. Failure to do so means that one is being destructive. Responding to Jesus is the issue.
