2 Samuel 19:26

19:26 He replied, “My lord the king, my servant deceived me! I 5  said, ‘Let me get my donkey saddled so that I can ride on it and go with the king,’ for I 6  am lame.

2 Samuel 24:2

24:2 The king told Joab, the general in command of his army, “Go through all the tribes of Israel from Dan to Beer Sheba and muster the army, so I may know the size of the army.”

1 tn Heb “and wash your feet.”

3 tc The LXX adds here the following words: “And the servants of Absalom burned them up. And the servants of Joab came to him, rending their garments. They said….”
