3:27 When Abner returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside at the gate as if to speak privately with him. Joab then stabbed him ¹  in the abdomen and killed him, avenging the shed blood of his brother Asahel. ² 

2 Samuel 6:20

6:20 When David went home to pronounce a blessing on his own house, ³  Michal, Saul’s daughter, came out to meet him. ⁴  She said, “How the king of Israel has distinguished ⁵  himself this day! He has exposed himself today before his servants’ slave girls the way a vulgar fool ⁶  might do!”

2 Samuel 12:31

12:31 He removed ⁷  the people who were in it and made them do hard labor with saws, iron picks, and iron axes, putting them to work at the brick kiln. This was his policy ⁸  with all the Ammonite cities. Then David and all the army returned to Jerusalem. ⁹ 

2 Samuel 19:8

19:8 So the king got up and sat at the city gate. When all the people were informed that the king was sitting at the city gate, they ¹⁰  all came before him.
