2 Samuel 3:8

3:8 These words of Ish-bosheth really angered Abner and he said, “Am I the head of a dog that belongs to Judah? This very day I am demonstrating ¹  loyalty to the house of Saul your father and to his relatives ²  and his friends! I have not betrayed you into the hand of David. Yet you have accused me of sinning with this woman today! ³ 

2 Samuel 8:10

8:10 he ⁴  sent his son Joram ⁵  to King David to extend his best wishes ⁶  and to pronounce a blessing on him for his victory over Hadadezer, for Toi had been at war with Hadadezer. ⁷  He brought with him various items made of silver, gold, and bronze. ⁸ 

2 Samuel 19:7

19:7 So get up now and go out and give some encouragement to ⁹  your servants. For I swear by the Lord that if you don’t go out there, not a single man will stay here with you tonight! This disaster will be worse for you than any disaster that has overtaken you from your youth right to the present time!”

2 Samuel 20:21

20:21 That’s not the way things are. There is a man from the hill country of Ephraim named Sheba son of Bicri. He has rebelled ¹⁰  against King David. Give me just this one man, and I will leave the city.” The woman said to Joab, “This very minute ¹¹  his head will be thrown over the wall to you!”
