Acts 13:40

13:40 Watch out, ¹  then, that what is spoken about by ²  the prophets does not happen to you:

Acts 8:24

8:24 But Simon replied, ³  “You pray to the Lord for me so that nothing of what you have said may happen to ⁴  me.”

Acts 14:19

14:19 But Jews came from Antioch ⁵  and Iconium, ⁶  and after winning ⁷  the crowds over, they stoned ⁸  Paul and dragged him out of the city, presuming him to be dead.

Acts 1:8

1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts ⁹  of the earth.”

¹ sn The speech closes with a warning, “Watch out,” that also stresses culpability.
