21:15 After these days we got ready ¹  and started up ²  to Jerusalem.

Acts 1:5

1:5 For ³  John baptized with water, but you ⁴  will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Acts 3:24

3:24 And all the prophets, from Samuel and those who followed him, have spoken about and announced ⁵  these days.

² tn Grk “were going up”; the imperfect verb ἀνεβαίνομεν (anebainomen) has been translated as an ingressive imperfect.

³ tn In the Greek text v. 5 is a continuation of the previous sentence, which is long and complicated. In keeping with the tendency of contemporary English to use shorter sentences, a new sentence was started here in the translation.

⁴ tn The pronoun is plural in Greek.

⁵ tn Or “proclaimed.”
