Daniel 2:20

2:20 saying, ¹

for wisdom and power belong to him.

Daniel 2:32

2:32 As for that statue, its head was of fine gold, its chest and arms were of silver, its belly and thighs were of bronze.

Daniel 2:34

2:34 You were watching as ⁴  a stone was cut out, ⁵  but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its iron and clay feet, breaking them in pieces.

Daniel 4:26

4:26 They said to leave the taproot of the tree, for your kingdom will be restored to you when you come to understand that heaven ⁶  rules.

⁷ sn The reference to heaven here is a circumlocution for God. There was a tendency in Jewish contexts to avoid direct reference to God. Cf. the expression “kingdom of heaven” in the NT and such statements as “I have sinned against heaven and in your sight” (Luke 15:21).
