Deuteronomy 6:3

6:3 Pay attention, Israel, and be careful to do this so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in number ¹  – as the Lord, God of your ancestors, ²  said to you, you will have a land flowing with milk and honey.

Deuteronomy 7:19

7:19 the great judgments ³  you saw, the signs and wonders, the strength and power ⁴  by which he ⁵  brought you out – thus the Lord your God will do to all the people you fear.

Deuteronomy 16:3

16:3 You must not eat any yeast with it; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast, symbolic of affliction, for you came out of Egypt hurriedly. You must do this so you will remember for the rest of your life the day you came out of the land of Egypt.

Deuteronomy 22:21

22:21 the men of her city must bring the young woman to the door of her father’s house and stone her to death, for she has done a disgraceful thing ⁶  in Israel by behaving like a prostitute while living in her father’s house. In this way you will purge ⁷  evil from among you.

Deuteronomy 22:24

22:24 you must bring the two of them to the gate of that city and stone them to death, the young woman because she did not cry out though in the city and the man because he violated ⁸  his neighbor’s fiancée; ⁹  in this way you will purge ¹⁰  evil from among you.
