Ezekiel 10:20

10:20 These were the living creatures 1  which I saw at the Kebar River underneath the God of Israel; I knew that they were cherubim.

Ezekiel 11:20

11:20 so that they may follow my statutes and observe my regulations and carry them out. Then they will be my people, and I will be their God. 2 

Ezekiel 11:22

11:22 Then the cherubim spread 3  their wings with their wheels alongside them while the glory of the God of Israel hovered above them.

Ezekiel 20:20

20:20 Treat my Sabbaths as holy 4  and they will be a reminder of our relationship, 5  and then you will know that I am the Lord your God.”

Ezekiel 31:9

31:9 I made it beautiful with its many branches;

all the trees of Eden, in the garden of God, envied it.

2 sn The expression They will be my people, and I will be their God occurs as a promise to Abraham (Gen 17:8), Moses (Exod 6:7), and the nation (Exod 29:45).

3 tn Heb “lifted.”

4 tn Or “set apart my Sabbaths.”

5 tn Heb “and they will become a sign between me and you.”
