Ezekiel 37:5

37:5 This is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones: Look, I am about to infuse breath ¹  into you and you will live.

Ezekiel 37:14

37:14 I will place my breath ²  in you and you will live; I will give you rest in your own land. Then you will know that I am the Lord – I have spoken and I will act, declares the Lord.’”

John 3:8

⁵ sn Again, the physical illustrates the spiritual, although the force is heightened by the word-play here on wind-spirit (see the note on wind at the beginning of this verse). By the end of the verse, however, the final usage of πνεύματος (pneumatos) refers to the Holy Spirit.
