Ezekiel 4:13

4:13 And the Lord said, “This is how the people of Israel will eat their unclean food among the nations ¹  where I will banish them.”

¹ sn Unclean food among the nations. Lands outside of Israel were considered unclean (Josh 22:19; Amos 7:17).

² tc This first sentence, which explains the meaning of the last sentence of the previous verse, does not appear in the LXX and may be an instance of a marginal explanatory note making its way into the text.

³ tn Heb “and he all of these did not do.” The parenthetical note refers back to the father described in the preceding verses.
