50:23 Joseph saw the descendants of Ephraim to the third generation. 1  He also saw the children of Makir the son of Manasseh; they were given special inheritance rights by Joseph. 2

Numbers 32:39-40

32:39 The descendants of Machir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, took it, and dispossessed the Amorites who were in it. 32:40 So Moses gave Gilead to Machir, son of Manasseh, and he lived there. 5
