2:3 Otherwise, I will strip her naked,

and expose her like she was when she was born.

I will turn her land into a wilderness

and make her country a parched land,

Revelation 12:6

Revelation 12:14

12:14 But ⁹  the woman was given the two wings of a giant eagle so that she could fly out into the wilderness, ¹⁰  to the place God ¹¹  prepared for her, where she is taken care of – away from the presence of the serpent – for a time, times, and half a time. ¹² 

¹ tn Heb “and kill her with thirst.” The vav prefixed to the verb (וַהֲמִתִּיהָ, vahamittiha) introduces a purpose/result clause: “in order to make her die of thirst” (purpose) or “and thus make her die of thirst” (result).

There is apparently no reason for the scribe of C to intentionally omit the phrase, and the fact that the word “time” (καιρὸν καὶ καιρούς, kairon kai kairou") appears twice before may indicate a scribal oversight.
