Isaiah 52:8

52:8 Listen, 1  your watchmen shout;

in unison they shout for joy,

for they see with their very own eyes 2 

the Lord’s return to Zion.

Ezekiel 3:17

3:17 “Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman 3  for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you must give them a warning from me.

1 tn קוֹל (qol, “voice”) is used at the beginning of the verse as an interjection.
