Isaiah 65:17

65:17 For look, I am ready to create

new heavens and a new earth! 1 

The former ones 2  will not be remembered;

no one will think about them anymore. 3 

Hebrews 12:27-28

12:27 Now this phrase “once more” indicates the removal of what is shaken, that is, of created things, so that what is unshaken may remain. 12:28 So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe.

Revelation 21:1

A New Heaven and a New Earth

21:1 Then 5  I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had ceased to exist, 6  and the sea existed no more.

1 sn This hyperbolic statement likens the coming transformation of Jerusalem (see vv. 18-19) to a new creation of the cosmos.
