Judges 1:19

1:19 The Lord was with the men of Judah. They conquered ¹  the hill country, but they could not ²  conquer the people living in the coastal plain, because they had chariots with iron-rimmed wheels. ³ 

Judges 3:28

3:28 He said to them, “Follow me, for the Lord is about to defeat your enemies, the Moabites!” ⁴  They followed him, captured the fords of the Jordan River ⁵  opposite Moab, ⁶  and did not let anyone cross.

19:11 When they got near Jebus, it was getting quite late ⁷  and the servant ⁸  said to his master, “Come on, let’s stop at ⁹  this Jebusite city and spend the night in it.”

Judges 20:32

20:32 Then the Benjaminites said, “They are defeated just as before.” But the Israelites said, “Let’s retreat ¹⁰  and lure them ¹¹  away from the city into the main roads.”
