The Tribe of Dan Finds an Inheritance

18:1 In those days Israel had no king. And in those days the Danite tribe was looking for a place ¹  to settle, because at that time they did not yet have a place to call their own among the tribes of Israel. ² 

Joshua 19:47

19:47 (The Danites failed to conquer their territory, ³  so they went up and fought with Leshem and captured it. They put the sword to it, took possession of it, and lived in it. They renamed it ⁴  Dan after their ancestor. ⁵ )
