A Monotonous Cycle

2:11 The Israelites did evil before ¹  the Lord by worshiping ²  the Baals.

Judges 3:6

3:6 They took the Canaanites’ daughters as wives and gave their daughters to the Canaanites; ³  they worshiped ⁴  their gods as well.

³ tn Heb “to their sons.”
