12:1 The Ephraimites assembled 7 and crossed over to Zaphon. They said to Jephthah, “Why did you go and fight 8 with the Ammonites without asking 9 us to go with you? We will burn your house down right over you!” 10
10:17 The Ammonites assembled 12 and camped in Gilead; the Israelites gathered together and camped in Mizpah.
12:2 Jephthah said to them, “My people and I were entangled in controversy with the Ammonites. 13 I asked for your help, but you did not deliver me from their power. 14
8:1 The Ephraimites said to him, “Why have you done such a thing to us? You did not summon us 15 when you went to fight the Midianites!” They argued vehemently with him.
16:25 When they really started celebrating, 16 they said, “Call for Samson so he can entertain us!” So they summoned Samson from the prison and he entertained them. 17 They made him stand between two pillars.
