John 9:3

9:3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man ¹  nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that ²  the acts ³  of God may be revealed ⁴  through what happens to him. ⁵ 

Mark 5:39-42

5:39 When he entered he said to them, “Why are you distressed and weeping? The child is not dead but asleep.” 5:40 And they began making fun of him. ⁶  But he put them all outside ⁷  and he took the child’s father and mother and his own companions ⁸  and went into the room where the child was. ⁹  5:41 Then, gently taking the child by the hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up.” 5:42 The girl got up at once and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). They were completely astonished at this. ¹⁰ 

Romans 11:11

11:11 I ask then, they did not stumble into an irrevocable fall, ¹¹  did they? Absolutely not! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make Israel ¹²  jealous.

¹⁰ tn The Greek word εὐθύς (euqus, often translated “immediately” or “right away”) has not been translated here.
