Joshua 1:9

1:9 I repeat, ¹  be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic, ²  for I, the Lord your God, am with you in all you do.” ³

Joshua 4:9

4:9 Joshua also set up twelve stones ¹¹  in the middle of the Jordan in the very place where the priests carrying the ark of the covenant stood. They remain there to this very day.

Joshua 8:1

Israel Conquers Ai

8:1 The Lord told Joshua, “Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! ¹²  Take the whole army with you and march against Ai! ¹³  See, I am handing over to you ¹⁴  the king of Ai, along with his people, city, and land.

Joshua 11:17

¹³ tn Here “also” has been supplied in the translation to make it clear (as indicated by v. 20) that these are not the same stones the men took from the river bed.
