Joshua 10:10

10:10 The Lord routed ¹  them before Israel. Israel ²  thoroughly defeated them ³  at Gibeon. They chased them up the road to the pass ⁴  of Beth Horon and struck them down all the way to Azekah and Makkedah.

Joshua 12:3

12:3 His kingdom included ⁵  the eastern Arabah from the Sea of Kinnereth ⁶  to the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), ⁷  including the route to Beth Jeshimoth and the area southward below the slopes of Pisgah.

Joshua 18:12

18:12 Their northern border started at the Jordan, went up to the slope of Jericho ⁸  on the north, ascended westward to the hill country, and extended to the desert of Beth Aven.

Joshua 18:19

18:19 It then crossed to the slope of Beth Hoglah to the north and ended at the northern tip of the Salt Sea ⁹  at the mouth of the Jordan River. ¹⁰  This was the southern border.

NIV, NRSV), but it is also possible that the Lord should be understood as the referent (cf. NASB “and He slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon”), or even Joshua (cf. NEB “and Joshua defeated them utterly in Gibeon”).
