Joshua 17:1

17:1 The tribe of Manasseh, Joseph’s firstborn son, was also allotted land. ¹  The descendants of Makir, Manasseh’s firstborn and the father of Gilead, received land, for they were warriors. ²  They were assigned Gilead and Bashan. ³

17:3 Now Zelophehad son of Hepher, son of Gilead, son of Makir, son of Manasseh, had no sons, only daughters. These are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

Joshua 20:8

20:8 Beyond the Jordan east of Jericho ⁸  they selected ⁹  Bezer in the desert on the plain belonging to the tribe of Reuben, Ramoth in Gilead belonging to the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan belonging to the tribe of Manasseh.

Joshua 22:32

22:32 Phinehas, son of Eleazar, the priest, and the leaders left the Reubenites and Gadites in the land of Gilead and reported back to the Israelites in the land of Canaan. ¹⁰

12:2 King Sihon of the Amorites who lived ¹¹  in Heshbon and ruled from Aroer (on the edge of the Arnon Valley) – including the city in the middle of the valley ¹²  and half of Gilead – all the way to the Jabbok Valley bordering Ammonite territory.

Joshua 22:9

22:9 So the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites in Shiloh in the land of Canaan and headed home to their own land in Gilead, ¹³  which they acquired by the Lord’s command through Moses.

17:18 The whole hill country ¹⁴  will be yours; though it is a forest, you can clear it and it will be entirely yours. ¹⁵  You can conquer the Canaanites, though they have chariots with iron-rimmed wheels and are strong.”
