Benjamin’s Tribal Lands

18:11 The first lot belonged to the tribe of Benjamin 1  by its clans. Their allotted territory was between Judah and Joseph. 2 

Joshua 22:13

22:13 The Israelites sent Phinehas, son of Eleazar, the priest, to the land of Gilead to the Reubenites, Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

Joshua 24:4

24:4 and to Isaac I gave Jacob and Esau. To Esau I assigned Mount Seir, 3  while Jacob and his sons went down to Egypt.

1 tn Heb “and the lot came up for the tribe of the sons of Benjamin.”

2 tn Heb “and the territory of their allotment went out between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.”

3 tn Heb “I gave to Esau Mount Seir to possess it.”
