Joshua 2:23

2:23 Then the two men returned – they came down from the hills, crossed the river, ¹  came to Joshua son of Nun, and reported to him all they had discovered.

Joshua 5:7

5:7 He replaced them with their sons, ²  whom Joshua circumcised. They were uncircumcised; their fathers had not circumcised them along the way.

Joshua 8:6

8:6 They will attack ³  us until we have lured them from the city, for they will say, ‘They are retreating from us like before.’ We will retreat from them.

Joshua 24:12

24:12 I sent terror ¹⁰  ahead of you to drive out before you the two ¹¹  Amorite kings. I gave you the victory; it was not by your swords or bows. ¹²
