Joshua 7:12

7:12 The Israelites are unable to stand before their enemies; they retreat because they have become subject to annihilation. ¹  I will no longer be with you, ²  unless you destroy what has contaminated you. ³

21:44 The Lord made them secure, ⁴  in fulfillment of all he had solemnly promised their ancestors. ⁵  None of their enemies could resist them. ⁶

² tn The second person pronoun is plural in Hebrew, indicating these words are addressed to the entire nation.
