11:24 “‘By these you defile yourselves; anyone who touches their carcass will be unclean until the evening,

Leviticus 11:43

11:43 Do not make yourselves detestable by any of the swarming things. You must not defile yourselves by them and become unclean by them,

tn Heb “by any of the swarming things that swarm.”

tn Heb “which I am sending away (Piel participle of שָׁלַח [shalakh, “to send”]) from your faces.” The rendering here takes the participle as anticipatory of the coming conquest events.

tn Heb “to not do from the statutes of the detestable acts.”

tn Heb “and you will not.” The Hebrew conjunction ו (vav, “and”) can be considered to have resultative force here.
