Regulations for Israel’s Appointed Times

23:1 The Lord spoke to Moses: 23:2 “Speak to the Israelites and tell them, ‘These are the Lord’s appointed times which you must proclaim as holy assemblies – my appointed times: 1 

Leviticus 21:24

21:24 So 2  Moses spoke these things 3  to Aaron, his sons, and all the Israelites.

Matthew 18:20

18:20 For where two or three are assembled in my name, I am there among them.”

1 tn Heb “these are them, my appointed times.”

2 tn Heb “And.” The Hebrew conjunction ו (vav, “and”) introduces a concluding statement for all the preceding material.

3 tn The words “these things” are not in the Hebrew text, but have been supplied in the translation for clarity.
