11:28 and said, “By what authority ¹  are you doing these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?” 11:29 Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question. Answer me and I will tell you by what authority I do these things:

12:28 Now ²  one of the experts in the law ³  came and heard them debating. When he saw that Jesus ⁴  answered them well, he asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”
